Patrick E. EJUEYITCHIE is a “Geek leader,” “Agile Evangelist”, “The Master Scrum Master”, These are a few of the nicknames my teammates and peers have called me to describe my work as Software Development Team Facilitator, Geodatabase Analyst, and Project Manager. 

Currently I work for Cox Automotive – A leader in the development of Auto Sales Software. These software products improve the way people buy, own, and sell cars. In my current role, I guide two teams of software engineers that are integral to meeting these goals. The first team has a successful record in building software focused on improving the inputs, calculations, taxation methods, incentives, and government fees etc., that help derive a payment quote for a vehicle being sold online or at a dealer’s location. The second team I guide is working on a project to migrate a major part of our systems from our company data center to the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud.  

Prior to this I worked with Format Solutions, a Software Development subsidiary of Cargill Animal Nutrition. I led two software teams which developed solutions based on Microsoft Dynamics® Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) architecture. Each of these teams focused on developing enhancements to software for managing the Commercial Feed Mills. In this role I successfully led the teams to meet the January 1st, 2017 deadline mandated by the FDA for the Veterinary Feed Directive (VFD) by creating an enhancement to the software that supported feed mills in selecting and administering the right doses of allowable antibiotics for animal feeds.

Some of the other companies I worked for include Fidelity Investments – Where I worked as the Scrum Master for a team developing a Cash Management tool for use by Investment Managers and Customer Representatives, which brought better transparency into Cash Flow and Cash Management. This tool improved the management of the overall Cash Flow within the company.  

Commonwealth of Massachusetts – Using the scrum framework, I successfully facilitated a team that re-built a subsidy management system for the Department of Early Education.  

Geo Imaging Consulting, Inc. – Worked as a Consultant on projects to create digital maps of critical assets for Government and Private organizations. I developed strategies for mapping and data storage for such assets as pavement, curbs, traffic signs, traffic lights, parking meters, intersections, etc., for the District of Columbia, Transportation Department.  Other notable mapping projects included Oil and Gas assets: Oil fields, Wells, Drilling rigs etc. for Total, and 1200,000 Voting locations for the Nigerian Electoral Commission (INEC).

Total Oil and Gas (Previously elf Oil) – Worked in positions of increasing responsibility in downstream petroleum and lubricating oil marketing. I started as a Sales Representative and ended up being the Regional Manager of one the critical Regions for the company.
